# How paying for calls works
No subscription needed. Add credits, talk, and only pay for the minutes you use.

## Credits
**100 credits = $1.** Your wallet holds credits; calls, bookings, gifts and private rooms are paid from it.

## Auto top-up plans
Never top up by hand: **$10/week** (1,000 credits), **$30/month** (3,000) or **$120/year** (12,000) — cancel any time in your wallet.

## What a call costs
Each creator sets a per-minute price for video, voice and chat — between 50 and 5,000 credits a minute — shown on their page before you call. You're billed in 15-second steps, only once you're both connected. Example: a 10-minute video call at 200 credits a minute costs 2,000 credits ($20).

## Gifts and hellos
Gifts start at 100 credits ($1) and can carry a private note. An Icebreaker hello costs 10 credits.
